Back in 1997 My husband originally suggested that I name my new company Soap Explosion, after he quietly sat back and watched as my week-end hobby exploded into an all out obsession.  Explosion may better describe the appearance of my kitchen after I started making soap.  The term SOAP EXTRAORDINAIRE was later suggested by one of my customers, as better describing the wonderful qualities of the soaps and other products that came out of my kitchen. Before I started marketing my product, I studied other Soapers, purchased many products and asked lots of questions.  What I learned was that not all soaps are created equal, and I found that you don’t always get products with better ingredients just because the price is higher. The ingredients used differ tremendously from one Company to another.  Some use lards and other animal fats and vegetable shortening as their base oils.

Here at Connie's Bath Shack, we prefer, and only use the best Olive oils, the highest quality ESSENTIAL OILS  & fragrances, along with Shea & Cocoa butters for a smooth creamy bar.  The addition of coconut oil makes for great lather.  My commitment to the highest quality  product spills over into all of my product line; each and every one of which has been lovingly created for you.

What my lawyer is making me say...

Pictures of actual products may include accessories which are not for sale - or are sold separately.  In order words, loofah pads & net scrubby's shown with several of our soap pictures are sold separately - and those cute little cat statutes that you may see, are not for sale.  Actual products may vary in appearance from those depicted.  All bath items offered for sale are hand made - not commercially stamped out in molds.  No two bars of soap will ever be exactly the same.  Every effort is made to duplicate previous products, but changes in temperatures, humidity, colors, etc. may affect the appearance of our products from batch to batch  - and sometimes, I simply change the color.  For a description of each of our products, please "click" on the appropriate link above.
